How AdultVerdict evaluates a platform

What a review on this site is allowed to claim, and what it will leave out.

AdultVerdict Editorial

An AdultVerdict review is an editorial assessment. We describe what a service publicly says it does, what a person can see in the ordinary product, and the trade-offs that follow. We do not publish a score.

What we will use

  • The company’s own description of a feature, checked against the help or product pages a reader can open.
  • The shape of the free product versus the paid product, without treating a paywall as a moral verdict.
  • Practical limits: a subscription cannot create a dating pool, and a privacy setting cannot undo something already sent.

What we will not invent

  • Star ratings, rankings, or “best of” awards.
  • Lab tests, match rates, or testimonials.
  • A price we have not recorded from the service itself. See how we show a price.
  • A partnership or a commission. If an affiliate link is added later, the page will say so next to the button. There is no such button on the current reviews.

Feature names change. When a sentence depends on a control that the company can move, we say to confirm it in the current app rather than pretend the page is a live manual.

The Bumble and Hinge comparison is an example of that limit: it compares positioning and product shape. It does not declare a winner.
