Editorial Policy

What an AdultVerdict review is allowed to claim. Last updated 24 October 2026.

AdultVerdict publishes reviews, comparisons, and guides for adults deciding how to use an online service. The writing is editorial. It is not a laboratory report, a ranking, or an advertisement.

What we will rely on

  • What the company itself says a feature does, checked against help or product pages a reader can open.
  • What a person can see in the ordinary product, including the difference between a free profile and a paid plan.
  • A practical limit we can explain, such as the fact that a subscription cannot create a dating pool in a city where few people are active.

When a control has already changed once, or can be changed by the company without notice, the sentence will tell you to confirm it in the current app. The longer note on method is how we evaluate a platform.

What we will not invent

  • Star ratings, scores, “best of” awards, or a city ranking we have not measured.
  • Lab tests, match rates, success rates, or a panel of testers.
  • Testimonials, reader stories presented as real, or quotations from people who did not say them.
  • A price we have not recorded from the service itself. An empty price is deliberate. See how we show a price.
  • A partnership, a sponsorship, or a commission that does not exist. The current position is in the affiliate disclosure.

Names, images, and comments

Product names are used so a sentence is identifiable. They are not a sign that the company approved the page. Photographs on the site are original still lifes made for AdultVerdict. They are not screenshots of an app and they are not pictures of customers.

There is no public comment section. A message sent through the contact form is correspondence. We do not publish it as a review.

Corrections and updates

If a feature name, a plan name, or a factual sentence is wrong, email info@adultverdict.com with the page address and what is wrong. We will correct a statement we can verify, and we will say so on the page when the change matters to the meaning.

A review is dated by its publication. It is not a live feed of the app. Staff may update it when the product changes in a way the original sentence no longer survives.

Independence

The people who write and edit for AdultVerdict do not accept payment from a reviewed company for a favourable line. A gift, a free subscription offered so that we will be kinder, or a request to approve copy before publication is refused. If a writer ever has a personal stake in a product, the page will say so or the writer will not cover it.

Staff sign in to a private desk to publish. That desk is not a reader account, and it is not available for outside contribution without an invitation from the editors.
